Privileged access for blind users

How do I also get access to the copyrighted graphics?

Privileged access for blind users

According to the Marrakesh Treaty, access to copyrighted content is only available to blind and visually impaired people. In order to unlock all graphics for you, we therefore need a copy of your severely disabled ID, which proves that you are blind or visually impaired. For this, it is important that we can clearly recognize the marks that are registered in your ID.

According to the law, a copy of the disability card must be stored safely. Since this is very sensitive data, it is only stored in encrypted form on specially secured storage devices that are not connected to the Internet and are only accessible to our data protection officer.

Your privileged access
in three steps:
1. Note "Share" e-mail address

First, you need a user account on Share”. If you already have one, check which email address was used to create your user account and copy it to your clipboard. Then proceed to step 3 “Submit proof of disability”. If you have not registered yet, continue with step 2.

2. Registration on database "Share"

Open the page share.problind.org and click on “Login” in the menu. There you select the button “register“. Here you can register with your email address and a password.

3. Submit proof of severe disability

To have all graphics unlocked for you, send an e-mail with the attached copy of your disability card to info@problind.org and state your full name and the e-mail address with which you registered.

After a processing time of two to three working days, ProBlind will recognize you as a beneficiary under the Marrakesh treaty and unlock all graphics for you. For this purpose, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address you provided.
